The correct way to use this home remedy is by adding a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of 8 ounces of water and drink it in one gulp. This remedy should be consumed once in the day.

Pineapples are high in an enzyme called bromelain. This enzyme can increase the body's ability to kill bacteria that cause infection . Therefore, it is beneficial to have a cup of fresh pineapple. Canned pineapple should be strictly avoided as they can aggravate the condition.

While most of the natural remedies mentioned above are relatively safe if used properly, it is important to consult a doctor before treating a urinary tract infection with yogurt , apple cider vinegar , berries , baking soda, pineapple or any other natural remedy. Moreover, if urinary infection does not improve after two weeks , you may need to go for medical treatment options .
